Support for Editorial Workflow Systems
Generally, we do not expect issues with editorial workflows due to the seamless integration of MathTools V2 with the InDesign product family.
MathTools V2 supports INDD, IDML and XML based workflows out of the box for InDesign, InCopy and InDesignServer.
Note: due to the way InDesign deals with 3rd party data in documents, you need to ensure that at least MathTools V2 READER Edition is installed everywhere. Otherwise, InDesign -by design- resets or strips off MathTools V2 data with or even without any related warnings. This is not a MathTools V2 related issue, but the default behaviour of InDesign in a Missing Plug-Ins condition!
Can MathTools V2 be used with Typefi Publish?
Yes. We are not aware of any issues.
Typefi Publish integrates with MathTools V2 Enterprise Edition to convert MathML into editable MathZones on InDesignServer.
Can MathTools V2 be used in a vjoon K4 Publishing System installation?
Yes. We are not aware of any issues.
Can MathTools V2 be used in a WoodWing Enterprise installation?
Yes. We are not aware of any issues

Creating a Plug-In dependency to MathTools as unexpected side-effect
A document that is not yet Enabled for Math may get implicitly dependent on MathTools due to side-effects:
- IDML related workflows like import/place of a snippet, a story, a library item that contains MathStyles, if MathTools (READER, at least) is installed, import those MathStyles
- copy & paste (or drag'n'drop) text containing MathZones from another MathTools Enabled document copies the referenced MathStyles, too
As a result, opening the document will show the Missing Plug-Ins alert. See Deal with Missing Plug-Ins
