Mathematical typesetting is one of the most challenging tasks that you can occur in textbook publishing. In this half-day tutorial, you will learn about the particularities of mathematical notation and how to put them into practice very easily with Adobe InDesign and the plug-in "InMath". You will get an overview of current mathematical fonts, learn why not each font is suitable for mathematical typesetting and why it's imperative to use Unicode-compliant fonts. All attendees are welcome to bring their own notebook with them. They will receive a fully functional, time-limited demo version of InMath so that they can follow the tutorial and further practice on their own.
